Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Regional Account Manager to represent our products to neurology and Fabry disease specialists within a defined region. This field-based role requires traveling to hospitals, clinics, and academic centers to educate healthcare staff and promote clinical and economic benefits.

You will work across departments to build relationships, identify opportunities, and address access and reimbursement issues while exceeding sales targets in a compliant manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or healthcare.
• Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare sales.
• Minimum 3 years rare disease or highly specialized sales experience.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a territory.
• Experience selling to clinics, hospitals, and academic centers.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Implement marketing strategies to meet sales and patient objectives for neurology and/or Fabry disease products.
• Collaborate within a matrix environment with Patient Services, Patient Engagement, Marketing, Managed Markets and Medical Affairs.
• Develop business partnerships with targeted physicians and healthcare staff, understanding their needs and discussing how PTC products meet those needs.
• Identify key treatment centers and facilities; collaborate across centers to optimize patient care.
• Establish and maintain relationships with patient and disease-focused advocacy groups.
• Employ a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach tailored to healthcare professionals.
• Address and resolve product access and reimbursement issues.
• Cultivate relationships with key thought leaders in neurology and/or Fabry disease.
