Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Regional Account Manager to promote our products to healthcare professionals in neurology and Fabry disease across a multi-state field territory.

The role involves extensive travel, building clinician relationships, and coordinating with Patient Services, Marketing, Managed Markets, and Medical Affairs to drive scientific and commercial outcomes. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Degrees in life sciences, business, or healthcare are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets in a compliant manner and contribute to the overall success of the metabolism business unit.
• Implement marketing strategies to meet sales and patient objectives for neurology and/or Fabry disease products on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Collaborate within a matrix environment, engaging with Patient Services, Patient Engagement, Marketing, Managed Markets and Medical Affairs.
• Develop business partnerships with targeted physicians and healthcare staff, understanding their needs and discussing how PTC products and resources meet these needs.
• Identify key treatment centers and facilities. Collaborate across centers and with their stakeholders to optimize patient care.
• Establish and maintain relationships with patient and disease-focused advocacy groups.
• Employ a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach tailored to healthcare professionals treating patients with neurological diseases and/or Fabry disease.
• Address and resolve product access and reimbursement issues.
• Cultivate relationships with key thought leaders in the neurology and/or Fabry disease therapeutic area.
