Job summary

Akumin is hiring a PRN PET-CT Technologist in Redding, CA to provide high-quality imaging across mobile and outpatient settings. The role emphasizes patient safety, clear communication with physicians, and flexibility to travel to multiple locations within the region.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree or equivalent, NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification, state licensure, CPR, and 3+ years of Nuclear Medicine experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required.
• State license required, CPR certification preferred.
• 3+ years Nuclear Medicine experience in high-pressure settings.
• Experience managing relationships with physicians/customers.
• Able to travel to multiple locations within the region.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images with strict safety protocols.
• Coordinate with physicians, radiologists and regional directors on protocols and quality issues.
• Troubleshoot scanners and peripheral equipment (PACs, coils, monitors).
• Assist Sales with start-ups and new business as needed.
