Job summary

National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is seeking a Field People Business Partner for the Northeast region. This remote role serves field and hospital leaders, guiding staffing alignment, onboarding, coaching, and engagement initiatives across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes partnering with operations, conducting talent reviews, managing workplace relations, and escalating complex matters to Team Member Relations while ensuring consistent application of company standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR/People experience including People Business Partner or related roles.
• Experience partnering with operational leaders on staffing, performance, and engagement.
• Experience supporting talent reviews, succession planning, and change/program rollout.
• Knowledge of team member relations, complaint intake, escalation, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary People Business Partner to field/hospital leaders within an assigned region.
• Own workforce deployment, staffing alignment, and capacity discussions with Operations.
• Deliver standardized onboarding and connection model for new leaders.
• Coach leaders on performance and conversations using company standards.
• Execute talent reviews and succession planning within the Talent & OE framework.
• Own workplace complaint intake and Tier 1 triage with escalation to TMR as needed.
• Support engagement and culture activation at site/regional levels.
• Partner with People teams on program rollout and communications.
