Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking an experienced leader to direct Patient Food Services for a seven-hospital system in the Louisville, KY area. You will guide education, training, and performance improvement of patient food service personnel to ensure safety, satisfaction, and efficient use of resources.

You will hire and develop patient services managers, monitor productivity, and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Hospitality Management or related field; equivalent considered.
• Minimum five years in food service with healthcare exposure; at least two in a leadership role.
• Certification as Dietary Manager required if no Nutrition/Dietetics degree; RD preferred.
• ServSafe certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Food Services for a 7-location system.
• Educate, train, and develop patient services managers and supervisors.
• Oversee evaluation, discipline, and performance of patient services staff.
• Monitor competency and productivity using required tools and resources.
• Ensure patient visits by management team during hospital stays.
• Achieve patient satisfaction goals and effective resource use.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
