Job summary

Accela Healthcare is seeking a Regional Painter & Drywall Technician to support multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers across New Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia area. This role is ideal for someone who values ownership and enjoys a variety of projects in welcoming healthcare environments.

You will patch, paint, install, and finish drywall, travel between facilities, and uphold safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional commercial painting experience.
• Strong drywall installation and repair experience.
• Experience with commercial repaint and renovation projects.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel regionally between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, patch, repair, and paint interior and exterior commercial spaces.
• Install, repair, tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall to a professional standard.
• Match existing paint colors and textures for seamless repairs.
• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, scraping, priming, and caulking.
• Apply paint, stain, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Complete resident room refreshes, common area renovations, and facility improvement projects.
• Travel between multiple healthcare facilities to complete scheduled projects.
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and infection control standards.

What You'll Do

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in healthcare, hospitals, long-term care, senior living, schools, hotels, apartment communities, commercial buildings, or institutional facilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
