Job summary

Accela Healthcare is seeking a Regional Commercial HVAC Technician to support multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities across New Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia area. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair climate control systems to keep residents comfortable and facilities compliant.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of commercial HVAC experience, EPA 608 Certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Experience servicing RTUs, split systems, package units, air handlers, heat pumps, and exhaust/make-up air systems.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities.
• Service RTUs, split systems, package units, air handlers, heat pumps, exhaust systems, and make-up air units.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
• Respond to emergency HVAC service calls as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Work closely with Regional Maintenance Directors and facility leadership.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable safety regulations.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Ability to climb ladders and work safely at heights
• Ability to participate in emergency and after-hours service calls when necessary
