Job summary

MULTIVAC, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our Fims and Packaging Materials division to drive sales across the Western United States and Hawaii, with travel about 70% of the time.

You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, coordinate with support teams, and represent the company at trade shows. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and at least five years of sales experience, including packaging materials, plus a valid driver’s license and passport

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least five years of sales experience.
• At least one year selling packaging materials.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential sales opportunities by making personal sales calls and following up on leads.
• Utilize company resources to advance the sales process including marketing tools and other sales associates.
• Attend material test trials to strengthen relationships with operations and explore further business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Customer Support Reps and Forecast/Pricing Analysts on forecasting, quoting, and order processing.
• Use CRM according to established procedures.
• Work with equipment sales and management teams to ensure smooth material performance and promote sales to defined accounts.
• Provide necessary information for proposals and orders, managing customer expectations during trials and orders.
• Act as the Regional Sales Manager for the defined region and handle issues from trials to receivables and quality concerns.
• Monitor and report competitive activity in the area of responsibility.
• Operate within the annual expense budget and aim to meet individual sales budgets.
• Attend and participate in trade shows and sales/industry meetings as directed.
• Support the Regional Sales Associates.
• Continue industry and selling practice education.
