Job summary

James Hardie Building Products Inc. is seeking a Regional Account Manager for Outdoor Living Products to own downstream contractor demand and drive territory growth across dealers and distributors. You will defend existing business while expanding premium product adoption and share of wallet.

The role partners with Channel Managers and field teams to convert demand into sustained market expansion. Requires travel up to 20% and strong relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of progressive sales experience in building products industry.
• 1+ years of experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to expand product adoption, increase share of wallet, and introduce new solutions that align with customer needs.
• Defend business by maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key customer accounts through engagement and value-added support.
• Serve as the key partner for assigned customers (dealers/distributors) and market stakeholders, ensuring partnership and loyalty.
• Develop structured account plans and conduct regular reviews with key accounts to assess goals and needs.
• Translate customer feedback into internal recommendations for product, pricing, service, or process improvements.
• Maintain account profiles, activity logs, and pipeline opportunities in CRM tools and forecast performance.
