Job summary

Smith+Naphew seeks a Fellows' Manager to build relationships with orthopedic fellows and fellowship programs across the Western region. You will lead engagement strategies, manage education curricula, and coordinate opportunities to showcase Smith+Naphew technologies and techniques.

You will oversee Transition to Practice initiatives, partner with commercial teams, and collaborate with Medical Education, Clinical Education, Marketing, and other functions to optimize program outcomes for North

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience within medical device sales, medical education, clinical specialist, market development, orthopedic healthcare, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic operating room procedures, training processes, and surgeon education.
• Experience working within Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, or similar orthopedic specialties.
• Ability to build and maintain influential relationships with fellows, fellowship programs, key opinion leaders, and cross functional stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, customer focus, communication skills, and project management capabilities.
• Broad product and procedural knowledge with the ability to identify cross franchise educational opportunities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams and functions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with fellows and fellowship programs across the Western Region.
• Serve as the primary Smith+Naphew expert for the fellows segment, creating engagement strategies.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of fellowship programs, fellow engagement, training curricula, and exposure to Smith+Naphew products and techniques.
• Identify educational gaps and coordinate targeted learning opportunities that expand fellows' exposure to Smith+Naphew technologies.
• Drive attendance and awareness for regional and national fellows' education programs.
• Lead the Transition to Practice process, partnering with commercial teams to ensure a seamless experience as fellows enter independent clinical practice.
• Collaborate with Medical Education, Clinical Education, Marketing, and commercial teams to maximize engagement.
• Design and implement customized educational programs for fellowship programs.
• Prioritize fellowship programs based on engagement, strategic value, and business objectives.
