Job summary

Smith+Naphew is seeking a Fellows' Manager to build and sustain relationships with orthopedic fellows and fellowship programs across the Western United States. You will serve as the regional expert, design engagement strategies, and coordinate education opportunities to showcase Smith+Naphew technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
• 5+ years in medical device sales, medical education, clinical specialist, market development, orthopedic healthcare, or related field.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic OR procedures, training processes and surgeon education.
• Experience in Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction, Trauma or similar orthopedic specialties.
• Ability to build influential relationships with fellows, programs, key opinion leaders and stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, customer focus, communication, and project management capabilities.
• Broad product and procedural knowledge with ability to identify cross franchise educational opportunities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with fellows and fellowship programs across the Western Region.
• Serve as the primary Smith+Naphew expert for fellows, creating engagement strategies.
• Develop and maintain records of fellowship programs, engagement, curricula, and exposure.
• Identify educational gaps and coordinate targeted learning opportunities.
• Drive attendance and awareness for regional and national fellows' education programs.
• Lead the Transition to Practice with commercial teams for a seamless entry into practice.
• Collaborate with Medical Education, Clinical Education, Marketing, and commercial teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to design customized educational programs for programs.
• Prioritize programs based on engagement, value, and objectives; align resources.
• Share best practices and provide regular reporting on activities and outcomes.
• Support fellowship programs across North America with collaborative coverage.
• Travel domestically up to 50%.
