EssilorLuxottica’s Target Optical division seeks a Managing Optometrist to lead clinical care across a defined market. The role blends direct patient care (about 70%) with leadership duties, coaching doctors, managing schedules, and driving exam growth in a multi-location setting.

Qualifications

• OD degree and state licensure.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.

• Experience leading multi-location or regional teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Model best-in-class patient experience, education, and handoff practices.
• Lead by example in clinical excellence and ethical standards.
• Coach and support optometrists across the market; conduct regular performance reviews.
• Oversee doctor schedules and ensure coverage; approve PTO with notice.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and company guidelines; drive exam growth and patient retention.
