Venture Optical Management (VOM) partners with eye care practices to build and support outstanding optical retail and business operations. We seek a knowledgeable optical dispensing specialist to interpret prescriptions, advise patients on frames and lenses, and ensure precise ordering and fitting across multiple southeastern PA and Southern NJ locations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, patient care, and collaboration with doctors and staff to deliver exceptional experiences while upholding HIPAA

Qualifications

• Training and/or certification in optical dispensing and/or fitting contact lenses.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly for interpreting prescriptions and checking lenses.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Familiarity with optical products.
• Strong sales ability.
• Ability to work at multiple locations in the southeastern PA and Southern NJ area depending on business needs.

Responsabilités

• Interpret the results of eye examinations and use prescriptions from Optometrists and/or Ophthalmologists.
• Advise patients on frame weights, materials, styles and colors.
• Recommend lenses, coatings and frames to suit customers’ needs.
• Measure customers to determine suitable frame types and styles.
• Adjust frames so they fit properly.
• Prepare orders for glasses and contact lenses by checking prescriptions and lens thickness.
• Ensure orders for glasses and contact lenses are processed accurately.
• Work with Doctors and practice staff to ensure the best patient experience.
