Venture Optical Management (VOM) is seeking an Optician to support our mission of delivering outstanding patient experiences across our optical practices. You will interpret eye examination prescriptions, advise on frame styles and lenses, and ensure accurate processing of glasses and contact lens orders.

Qualifications

• Certification in optical dispensing or fitting contact lens
• Strong ability to interpret prescriptions
• Excellent communication to explain options to patients
• Knowledge of frames, lenses, coatings and lens materials
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Experience maintaining HIPAA-compliant records

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions and advise on frame weights, materials, styles
• Measure and fit frames to ensure proper sizing
• Prepare orders for glasses and contacts with accuracy
• Maintain inventory of frames and optical supplies
• Support doctors and staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and store policies
