Job summary

Venture Optical Management, Inc. is seeking an Optician to support exceptional patient experiences and practice growth across our southeastern PA and southern New Jersey locations.

You will interpret prescriptions, advise on frames and lenses, and ensure precise order preparation and fitting. A strong emphasis on customer service, accuracy, and teamwork will drive success in this role.

Qualifications

• Training or certification in optical dispensing and/or contact lens fitting.
• Excellent attention to detail for interpreting prescriptions and checking lenses.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Familiarity with optical products and processes.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow licensing regulations (CEs).

Responsibilities

• Interpret eye examination results and prescriptions written by Optometrists/Ophthalmologists.
• Advise patients on frame weights, materials, styles and colors; recommend lenses, coatings and frames.
• Measure customers to determine suitable frame types and styles; adjust and fit frames.
• Prepare orders for glasses and contact lenses; ensure accurate processing of orders.
• Maintain inventory of frames and optical supplies; ensure HIPAA compliant sales records.
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to provide excellent patient and practice experience.
