Job summary

Vision Associates, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an energetic optical associate for full-time engagement. You will assist patients in selecting eyewear, take precise measurements, and ensure accurate prescription placement while delivering exceptional customer service in our Philadelphia location.

You will operate the POS, coordinate with doctors and staff, and help maintain an organized, welcoming dispensary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active state optical licensure; must maintain license.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.

Responsibilities

• Provides eyewear selection, measurements, ordering, and fitting to fulfill patient eyewear needs.
• Operates the point-of-sale system and inputs patient information accurately.
• Collaborates with doctors and practice staff to ensure patient care.
• Asks open-ended questions to understand patient needs and provide solutions.
• Maintains dispensary appearance, inventory, and security of assets.
• Ensures timely delivery and follows up to exceed patient expectations.
