AWP Safety in Texas is seeking an Area Manager to lead safety initiatives while driving growth and protecting assets. You will oversee a large field team, manage P&L, and collaborate with HR on recruitment and development of supervisors.

The role requires 5–10 years of management experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to build high‑performing teams while upholding safety standards across operations.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of management experience required.
• Strong leadership with excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Experience managing P&L.
• Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma preferred.
• Experience in Business Development – top & bottom line.
• Must adhere to and promote safe workplace practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and enforce safe work practices.
• Oversee P&L, Fleet, Safety, Equipment Inventory, and Customer Interactions.
• Develop and support the growth of 3-5 direct supervisors.
• Recruit and hire strategies in conjunction with Human Resources.
• Manage a staff of 75-150 field employees across large territories.
• Foster team building and regular communication.
• Ensure customer service issues are addressed promptly.
