Job summary

AWP Safety, based in Northeast Ohio, seeks an Area Manager to lead safety initiatives, manage P&L, and drive growth, protecting customers’ people, business, and time. You will oversee 75–150 field employees across large territories, recruit and develop supervisors, and ensure outstanding service while upholding safety standards.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, staff development, and customer relationship management, with travel across the service area.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of management experience with P&L responsibility.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
• Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Experience in business development and building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning to create and maintain safe work practices.
• Protect employees, customers and assets by enforcing safety.
• Ensure compliance with Company, Local, State and Federal regs.
• Oversee P&L, Fleet, Safety, Equipment Inventory and Customer Interactions.
• Lead and develop 3–5 direct supervisors and a team of 75–150 field staff.
