Job summary

TC Energy seeks an Area Manager to lead safety, field operations, and project execution across assigned assets. Reporting to the American Gulf Region Director, you will drive safe, reliable operation and budget stewardship while mentoring a high-performing team.

You will enforce Life Saving Rules, oversee compliance with JSA/LOTO/Work Permits, and represent TC Energy with key partners. Hybrid work model applies; US locations preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a leadership role.
• Energy industry experience preferred, especially natural gas operations.
• Ability to travel to work locations to support operational requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
• Commitment to safety and environmentally responsible work practices.
• Demonstrated leadership with the ability to influence teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety excellence by stopping unsafe work and reporting hazards.
• Supervise and develop teams; set clear expectations and accountability.
• Manage field operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee budgeting for capital and operating plans within area.
• Provide active leadership to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Represent TC Energy with internal and external partners.
• Serve as REOC backup and manage emergencies and exercises.
• Promote innovation and operational excellence across the region.
