Job summary

Lifeshare Blood Center in Shreveport, LA seeks an Assistant Director to lead regional blood collection operations and coordinate fleet and equipment resources. The role focuses on achieving collection goals while managing budgets and safety compliance.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree and 3+ years in blood banking or related fields; a valid driver’s license and knowledge of CLIA, FDA, OSHA, and CGMP guidelines are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in business or related field.
• At least three years of relevant work experience; blood banking preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of CLIA, FDA, OSHA and CGMP guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs the execution of tactical plans and monitors blood collection operations to meet goals.
• Coordinate with Fleet department to optimize resources and equipment operability.
• Ensure monthly safety inspections and corrective actions are documented.
• Manage departmental budgets and assist in annual budget development.
• Support Regional Director in donor recruitment and regional goals.
