Job summary

LifeShare Blood Center is seeking a Regional Operations Director to lead donor recruitment and blood collection across the region, shaping strategies and coaching teams to meet KPIs.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years in healthcare administration or operations, with strong leadership, budgeting, regulatory knowledge, and community engagement. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate and travel within the region will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; 5+ years in operations management or healthcare administration.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in directing and coaching staff.
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations governing Blood Banking, AABB standards, OSHA, and cGMP preferred.
• Experience developing and maintaining operating budgets.
• Highly organized with initiative and strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional blood collection and donor recruitment operations.
• Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to meet KPI targets.
• Direct, develop and coach teams to achieve goals.
• Build relationships with community leaders to promote LifeShare’s mission.
• Ensure operations comply with regulatory standards; model LifeShare’s mission and values.
• Travel within the region for meetings and outreach.
