Job description

As the Regional Operations Manager at Eleanor Health, you will play a strategic role in driving operational excellence and ensuring high-quality care delivery within your assigned region. Reporting directly to the Regional President, you will oversee day-to-day operations, including clinical workflows, staffing, and community engagement, while leading a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Behavioral Health Clinicians, Nurses, and Community Recovery Partners.

Your leadership will be pivotal in optimizing care delivery models, managing clinic capacities, and enhancing the member experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Revenue Cycle Management, Compliance, Member Services, and Marketing, to ensure operational alignment with Eleanor Health's mission of compassionate, evidence-based care.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the daily operations of your assigned region.
  • Supervise Interdisciplinary Clinic team, including clinical supervision of Community Recovery Partners and Licensed Behavioral Health Clinicians.
  • Provide administrative supervision to medical team members within your assigned region.
  • Develop, manage, and ensure adherence to clinic policies and procedures.
  • Manage staff work schedules and ensure proper staffing levels to meet patient capacity; lead capacity management to ensure patient panel size does not exceed that which the clinic can handle.
  • Drive learning and development activities for care team members & support the successful onboarding of new team members in your assigned region.
  • Proactively identify methods to improve Eleanor Health’s program based on feedback from patients, including ideas for new services to offer to certain patient populations.
  • Build bi-directional relationships with community organizations to support referrals and resources for Eleanor patients.
  • In collaboration with Revenue Cycle Analyst, oversee Revenue Cycle Management activities
  • Manage clinic budgets.
  • Lead staff meetings and daily huddles.
  • Handle community member concerns and grievances, ensuring best-in-class customer experience for all patients and their caregivers.
  • Travel to clinics within your assigned region as needed.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required: Masters degree in psychology, counseling, social work, family therapy, nursing, health administration or related field strongly preferred
  • 2+ years (if Masters degree) or 5+ years (if Bachelors degree) of supervisory experience required, preferably in a substance use disorder (SUD) or behavioral health setting.
  • Experience leading clinical teams and providing supervision to behavioral health clinicians
  • Experience driving practice management for small to mid-sized clinics, including overall patient panel oversight, operational efficiency, resource planning, and day-to-day issue mitigation
  • Strong decision-making skills and proven track record of leadership
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong relationships with the provider community and/or an ability to build connections within the community
  • Understanding of and continuous pulse on federal, state, and local regulations to guide clinic policies and operations
  • Experience working in mental health treatment and substance use treatment for patients with opioid and other substance use disorders (OUD and SUD)
  • Excellent working knowledge of evidence-based treatments for behavioral health conditions
  • Experience working with patients with multiple medical and behavioral health diagnoses is preferred, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with exceptional active listening abilities
  • Highly empathetic, non-judgmental, and open-minded
  • Experience in a collaborative team environment
  • The ability to complete all other responsibilities as required
  • Must be physically located in North Carolina

The target annual compensation range for this position is $85,000-105,000. The actual compensation offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
