We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and that these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the Producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation.

Qualifications
Position Summary
As a Regional Operations Manager for Livestock Nutrition Center, you will be pivotal in ensuring our facilities' smooth and efficient operations across multiple locations within the designated region. You will oversee production processes, implement quality control measures, lead and optimize operational efficiency, and lead facility Cap Ex planning to meet company objectives and regulatory standards. You will ensure your assigned facilities are following Operational Management Principles are being followed.
Responsibilities
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple feed mill facilities within the region.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize production efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure consistent product quality.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Personnel Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of facility managers with their operations supervisors, production workers, and support staff needs.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high competence and motivation among team members.
- Work with the Facility Managers to ensure proper staffing levels, scheduling, and workforce planning to meet production demands effectively.
- You will work with facility managers to ensure ongoing personnel development.
- Ensure that our Operations Management Principles are trained and followed by our teams.
- Build and maintain positive professional relationships with LNC personnel.
Supply Chain And Inventory Management:
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure proper use and sizing of ingredient warehousing.
- Optimize inventory levels and minimize wastage through effective inventory management practices.
- Develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks, shrink, and maintain uninterrupted production.
Budgeting And Cost Control:
- Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or safety.
- Analyze financial performance metrics to assess operational efficiency and make data-driven decisions.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Lead three-year Facility Cap Ex planning to develop the most effective company capital allocation.
- Develop and execute New Initiative projects to measure operational success.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the feed mill remains competitive and compliant.
- Understand, implement, and strictly enforce all LNC Safety and Compliance procedures to maintain the Company’s safety culture.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the agricultural or feed manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership skills that inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of feed mill operations, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the designated region.
