Fireside Hearth and Home in Dallas is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to drive sub-regional SQDC targets, lead Branch Managers, and ensure disciplined SOP execution across multiple locations. You will coordinate operations, optimize quote-to-invoice processes, manage working capital, and uphold safety policies to deliver consistent performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing people in an operations environment.
• Strong operational leadership across multiple locations and branches.
• Experience managing costs, gross profit, and working capital.
• Ability to plan and execute logistics and capacity strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own KPI ownership and execute sub-regional operations strategy to achieve targets.
• Provide oversight of daily operations across multiple branches with SOP adherence.
• Hire, develop, coach, and manage Branch Managers.
• Build logistics and capacity plans to meet customer demand.
• Resolve escalated customer and operational issues and manage facilities.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety plan adherence; support investigations.

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for executing the Fireside operations strategy across an assigned sub‑region to attain SQDC targets. This role leads Branch Managers, ensures disciplined execution of standard operating procedures, manages sub‑regional costs and logistics, and resolves escalated operational and customer issues. Through strong operational leadership and cross‑functional coordination, the Regional Operations Manager enables consistent branch performance and a reliable customer experience.

KPI Ownership

• Execute sub‑regional operations strategy to achieve SQDC targets
• Drive excellence to SQDC by identifying systemic trends and implementing countermeasures to improve KPI’s
• Manage sub‑regional costs with emphasis on COGS and G&A
• Drive gross profit through cost controls and quote‑to‑invoice optimization
• Manage working capital, including inventory audits and A/R back‑charge resolution

Operations Leadership

• Provide oversight of daily operations across multiple branches to ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures
• Hire, develop, coach, and manage Branch Managers
• Build logistics and capacity plans to meet customer demands
• Resolve escalated customer and operational issues
• Manage facilities and vehicle needs including showrooms and general maintenance
• Ensure OSHA compliance across branch operations
• Ensure adherence to the safety plan and support incident investigations and corrective actions

Required Qualifications

Skills and Abilities

• Strong operational leadership with the ability to oversee multiple locations
• Proven people‑management capability, including coaching, developing, and accountability
• Financial and business acumen, with experience managing costs, gross profit, and working capital
• Ability to plan and execute logistics and capacity strategies to meet customer demand
• Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, particularly in complex or escalated operational situations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate across Sales, Customer Service, Branch, and Field teams
• Proficiency with standard business and reporting tools (e.g., MS Office, PowerPoint, quality metrics and reporting systems)

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of experience in leading and managing people in an operations environment

Preferred Qualifications

Hearth industry or construction industry experience is preferred.
