Reworld Waste is seeking an Area Operations Manager to oversee safe, efficient, and profitable operations for multiple facilities in Fairfax or Alexandria VA or Montgomery, MD. You will report to the Regional COO and lead the operations, maintenance, safety, and engineering teams to maximize performance and cost control.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in operations management with at least 5 years supervising teams.
• Experience leading operations and maintenance with a track record of safety leadership and P&L management.
• Experience building high-performance teams, delivering customer-focused results in a heavy-industry setting.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety as a priority and lead environmental stewardship across the region.
• Deliver P&L targets through effective budgeting, waste mix and routing plans.
• Coordinate region-wide operations, maintenance, and support functions for multiple facilities.
