Job summary

Alliance Animal Health is seeking a Regional Manager of Operations for the Mid-South, overseeing a growing network of emergency, specialty, and urgent care hospitals across Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

You will work directly with Practice Managers, Hospital Administrators, and Medical Directors to strengthen daily operations, improve financial performance, and develop hospital leaders. This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive veterinary hospital operations experience, preferably in emergency, specialty, or urgent care.
• 2+ years of multisite leadership or equivalent.
• Proven ability to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Experience coaching hospital leaders and developing leadership teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight for multiple specialty, emergency, and urgent care hospitals in the Mid-South.
• Partner with hospital leadership to improve workflows, staffing, patient access, and performance.
• Establish consistent operational expectations while respecting local culture and services.
• Identify and implement sustainable solutions to operational challenges.
• Maintain a strong field presence with regular hospital visits and leadership meetings.
• Coach and mentor Practice Managers and Hospital Administrators to strengthen leadership and business skills.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment, retention, and staffing strategies.
