Job summary

Alliance Animal Health is seeking a Regional Manager of Operations for the Mid-South to lead veterinary hospital operations across emergency, specialty and urgent care networks. You will partner with Practice Managers, Hospital Administrators, Medical Directors and veterinary partners to drive financial performance, improve workflows and develop strong leaders in multiple hospitals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive veterinary hospital operations experience, preferably within emergency, specialty, urgent care, or a combination of these environments.
• 2+ years of multisite leadership experience or comparable senior‑level management within a large veterinary hospital.
• Demonstrated success improving hospital financial performance, operational efficiency, and team engagement.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, labor management, forecasting, and expense control.
• Experience coaching and developing Practice Managers, Hospital Administrators, or other hospital leaders.
• Understanding of veterinary hospital staffing models, veterinarian productivity, clinical workflows, and operational performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight for multiple specialty, emergency, and urgent care hospitals across the Mid‑South region.
• Partner with hospital leadership to improve workflows, staffing, patient access, and overall performance.
• Establish consistent expectations while respecting each hospital’s culture and services.
• Identify challenges early and implement sustainable solutions with hospital teams.
• Maintain a strong field presence through regular visits, leadership meetings, and ongoing communication.
