Job summary

Creek Indian Enterprises seeks a Regional Manager of Operations to provide executive leadership and direction for its convenience stores and travel plaza network. You will oversee staff, implement business plans, and drive profitability in a high-volume retail environment.

The role requires strong strategic planning, staff development, and compliance with corporate policies, with reporting to the President/CEO and a focus on efficiency and growth across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years in executive level management with high volume convenience stores/travel plazas.
• Familiar with back office operations and adjustments to meet business goals.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with employees, the public and all levels of management; professional demeanor.
• Ability to lead and direct others and manage performance to optimum levels.
• Well organized with attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of computers and software in retail/convenience store operations; Windows environment; Word, Excel, etc.
• Working knowledge of inventory and cost control systems.
• Understanding of accounting processes including financial statements, budgets, AR/AP, inventory, debits and assets.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to comply with CIEDA Personnel Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and executive direction to staff while directing overall operations of Creek Indian Enterprises’ convenience stores and travel plaza.
• Directs supervision and leadership of store/travel plaza employees.
• Develops, approves and implements annual business plans based on budgets and industry analysis.
• Trains and develops managers in hiring, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Develops and implements purchasing procedures for equipment, supplies, etc.
• Interacts with CIEDA to implement vision, mission and corporate values.
• Monitors business goals and objectives; analyzes and improves projections of sales and profits.
• Secures permits and licenses and ensures compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the President/CEO.
