Virginia Transportation Corp in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a Regional Manager to lead operational performance across multiple terminals and drive safety, service levels, and profitability. The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and deep knowledge of logistics, dispatch, DOT compliance, and transportation software.

You will oversee scheduling, coaching, and continuous improvement in a high-demand environment.

Competenze

• Associate or Technical Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business or related field preferred.
• Experience in logistics and dispatch, preferably within auto hauling.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to develop a team; change management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of transportation enterprise software applications (e.g., TMW, PeopleNet).
• Working knowledge of tractor-trailer maintenance.
• Strong written and oral communication and teamwork.
• Ability to use transportation analytics tools and data-driven insights.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance, laws and safety standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail; highly organized.
• Ability to provide timely follow-up with drivers and management.
• Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week.
