Job summary

Echo Global Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Roadtex Operations to oversee a regional team across several site locations, ensuring daily operations meet goals and objectives.

You will plan activities, monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and drive improvements by coordinating with HR, Finance, and Logistics. Responsibilities include directing site managers, coordinating shipping/receiving, analyzing data for efficiency, and guiding SOP development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multi-unit team; 7+ years in a leadership role.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills; interpret financial data to set goals.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Self-directed with initiative; collaborate with Compliance on safety.
• Ability to build internal/external partnerships to drive efficiency.
• Knowledge of shipping methods (UPS, FedEx, Freight) and routing.
• Geographical area understanding and routing optimization.

Responsibilities

• Directs Site Managers for Region; plan and organize daily operations.
• Analyze KPI, financial data, and activity reports to boost efficiency.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Logistics for production success.
• Direct shipping/receiving functions across locations.
• Assess labor needs and present to Regional Director.
• Assist budgeting for operations; support SOP development.
• Collaborate with internal teams on process improvements.
• Address transportation issues; propose corrective actions.
