Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking a dedicated operations supervisor to coordinate driver information, review routes, and monitor in-transit freight. This role supports terminal managers and vendors, ensuring KPI goals are met and safety standards are upheld.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in transportation, strong communication, tech-savviness, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, cross-docking, or shipping/receiving (LTL preferred).
• Strong leadership qualities and customer-service mindset.
• Desire to surround customer with excellence in service.
• High aptitude for technology and systems.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Relaying critical information between drivers and vendors/Terminal Managers.
• Reviewing and revising driver routes to increase efficiency.
• Monitoring freight in transit and reporting issues on the road.
• Maintaining a safe work environment compliant with state and federal standards.
• Ensuring KPI goals are met or exceeded and quality of product.
• Providing support to a culture of service excellence.
