Job summary

Ingersoll Rand's Compression Technologies & Services is hiring an Area Operations Leader to oversee the value stream from PO receipt to closure across four centers in Texas and Oklahoma. The role includes service coordination, order management, parts inventory, inside sales, invoicing and customer satisfaction.

You will lead, coach and develop inside sales staff, drive lean improvements, manage budgets, and collaborate with sales to ensure on-time delivery and optimal customer experience, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; Engineering, Technical, Marketing or Business preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in industrial product space, with diverse product portfolio including services.
• Strong leadership and people-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the order management process and identify process improvement opportunities to drive accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales on contract terms and order processing to minimize errors and maximize accuracy and on time delivery.
• Collaborate with service to ensure optimal customer experience, parts and resource availability and technician productivity.
• Visit customers on a regular basis to understand process challenges and customer requirements.
• Effectively attract, coach, counsel, train and develop all inside sales employees; drive continuous improvement through performance management and training programs.
