Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Area Service Leader to drive service strategy across the West Region (Southern California, Arizona & Nevada). You will lead field technicians, coordinate service contracts, and partner with sales to optimize pricing and margins while expanding connectivity with key customers.

The role demands 5+ years in industrial services and 3+ years of people management, with a focus on safety, training, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial product space.
• 3+ years in a customer-facing management role.
• Experience leading a service team and field technicians.
• P&L experience is critical.
• Forecasting needs, obtaining resources, and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for full services portfolio performance.
• Balance technician training and skills to serve customers; cover repairs, contracts, installations, and long-term service agreements.
• Collaborate with Operations Leader to align service coordination with objectives.
• Work with sales on contract pricing to maintain profitability.
• Coach and develop service employees.
• Drive continuous improvement through performance management and training.
• Develop staff capabilities in customer service and technical skills.
• Build technician/supervisor pipelines and manage workforce capacity.
• Maximize cash flow by timely invoicing and budgeting.
• Ensure standard service processes and improve customer experience.
• Ensure EH&S compliance and provide safety training.
• Visit customers regularly to strengthen relationships and provide solutions.
