Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Area Operations Leader to oversee value stream activities from PO receipt to closure for four Texas and Oklahoma locations. Responsibilities span service coordination, order management, inventory and shipment, inside sales, invoicing, collections, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 7–10 years in the industrial product space, with strong leadership, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Travel to customer centers in TX and OK is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; Engineering, Technical, Marketing or Business preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in industrial product space, preferably with diverse product portfolio including service offerings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the order management process and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales on contract terms and order processing to minimize errors and ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with service to ensure customer experience, parts availability and technician productivity.
• Visit customers regularly to understand process challenges and requirements.
• Coach and develop inside sales employees; drive continuous improvement and training.
• Manage workforce with cross-training to cover gaps and leverage strengths.
• Maximize cash flow by ensuring invoices post-work; resolve disputes; manage budgets.
• Create standard work processes; ensure EH&S compliance; train employees.
