FirstEnergy Corp seeks a Manager of Operations to lead 24/7 electric utility operations across Clark, Hartstown, McDowell and Clarion service centers. You will ensure safe, reliable electricity delivery, manage budgets, and guide the workforce through change while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, DE&I, and customer service, with collaboration across managers and union leadership. Strong operational and strategic abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent training/experience.
• 7+ years in electric utility leadership roles preferred.
• Experience with collective bargaining agreements and HR policies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 24/7/365 operations across multiple service centers.
• Plan, direct and review activities to ensure safe and reliable service delivery.
• Develop staffing plans, budgets and performance targets.
• Engage union leadership and staff to foster safety and inclusion.
• Interpret policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Respond to customer/regulatory inquiries and drive improvements.
