Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in the Dallas region seeks an experienced operations professional to assist the Regional Manager with day-to-day activities, drive efficiency, and improve profitability. You will plan, coordinate and direct regional operations, striving for quality improvements and cost controls while delivering strong service to customers.

The role requires leading branch teams, implementing process improvements, and ensuring adherence to policies and ISO standards.

• Wholesale distribution experience with multi-branch operations.
• Advanced understanding of Distribution ERP and related systems.
• Proven leadership and time-management to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive compliance with policies and execute plans to meet annual goals.
• Assist Regional Manager in achieving expense, margin and staffing targets.
• Oversee product, repair and service deliveries to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with Branch teams to improve service, 5S, safety and operations.
• Support hiring and maintenance of productive staff.
• Identify resources and assign duties to improve efficiency and processes.
• Track issues and apply problem-solving processes to resolutions.
• Maintain ISO Quality/Environmental compliance and suggest improvements.
• Analyze operational metrics to determine effective solutions.
• Encounter deadlines and manage staff and costs to improve operations.
