Job summary

Regional Transportation District (RTD) seeks a Real-Time Operations Coordinator to monitor and coordinate multimodal transit system performance. You will work with ROC staff, field technicians, maintenance, and engineering to ensure safe, reliable passenger service across Bus, Light Rail, and Commuter Rail.

The role requires strong technical awareness, incident response, and the ability to communicate service impacts clearly through passenger information channels.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Customer Experience, or Transportation.
• Minimum four (4) years in transit, transportation, engineering support, or incident-management roles with internal stakeholders.
• Experience with CAD/AVL, SCADA, CCTV, and asset-management tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time operations across Bus, Light Rail, and Commuter Rail to ensure safe, reliable service.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve incidents and support service recovery.
• Communicate service disruptions and update passenger information systems during events.
