Job summary

Summit Therapeutics Inc. is seeking an Oncology Regional Business Director for the Ohio River Valley. This leadership role will drive the launch and commercialization of ivonescimab in the assigned U.S. region, reporting to the Head of U.S. Sales.

You will recruit, coach and manage a field sales team of oncology account managers, partnering with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Commercial Operations to execute national strategies and optimize regional performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales experience, including 5+ years in oncology sales leadership.
Recent experience leading or supporting oncology product launches; NSCLC experience strongly preferred.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing oncology sales teams.
Strong coaching, leadership and performance management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Execute national sales strategies and business plans to achieve regional objectives and market share.
Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team of oncology account managers.
Lead regional launch readiness and execution for ivonescimab with best-in-class customer experience.
Monitor regional performance with KPIs and analytics; provide ongoing coaching.
Develop regional business plans and account strategies to optimize engagement and resource deployment.
Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and cross-functional teams.
