Job summary

Summit Therapeutics Inc. is seeking a Regional Business Director to lead ivonescimab commercialization in the U.S. region. You will report to the Head of U.S. Sales, build a high-performing oncology sales team, and drive regional strategy and execution with cross-functional partners.

The role requires 10+ years in pharma/biotech sales, 5+ years in oncology leadership, NSCLC experience preferred, and a track record of meeting commercial objectives. Travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales experience, including 5+ years in oncology sales leadership.
• Experience leading or supporting oncology product launches; NSCLC experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable business plans.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute national sales strategies and business plans to achieve regional sales objectives and market share goals.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing team of oncology account managers.
• Lead regional launch readiness and execution, ensuring reps promote ivonescimab effectively.
• Monitor regional sales performance through KPIs and analytics; provide ongoing coaching.
• Develop strategic regional business plans and account strategies to optimize engagement.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and cross-functional teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key oncology customers and healthcare systems.
• Lead regional sales meetings, business reviews, and field coaching activities.
