Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience and strong operational execution across all locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align priorities, and own office readiness, staffing, facilities, and compliance. This hands-on leader will travel between offices to sustain performance and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/service/operations with accountability for performance.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative service delivery.
• Proven ability to drive business and financial results while managing day-to-day ops across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools and behaviors.
• Lead professionals by setting expectations, reinforcing accountability, coaching for performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and address performance gaps.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations including staffing, scheduling, compliance, and SOPs.
