Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices and deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations.

You’ll set expectations for consultative service, operations, and team performance while balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, manage staffing and facilities, travel between offices, and drive revenue and client satisfaction through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/operations.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Experience driving business results while managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands across locations.
• Experience in facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; handles escalations.
• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds; travel between offices.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations and accountability.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and results to strengthen teams.
• Identify patterns and address performance gaps; develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and business outcomes across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics; act to improve results, acquisition, retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, supplies, and onboarding.
