Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across all locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, and align priorities with business performance. You will own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations while driving revenue growth and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Ability to travel frequently between assigned offices.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 assigned offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and improve the experience.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with client-centric leadership.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting clear expectations and coaching for performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, performance outcomes, and real-time feedback.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve business results and client acquisition.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, labor management, and compliance.
• Own office readiness including facilities, equipment, supplies, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
