Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a high-quality client experience and consistent execution. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, and align staffing, facilities, and operations to drive business outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Demonstrated leadership of multi-unit teams (4–6 offices).
• Strong ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Proven track record delivering consultative client experiences and business results.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead professionals by setting clear expectations and coaching for performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior, feedback, and outcomes.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, operations, and business outcomes across offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing and compliance.
• Oversee facilities, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal readiness.
