Job summary

H&R Block in the United States is seeking a dynamic Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, manage staffing, facilities, and compliance, and drive business results with hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail/service/operations environment with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver consultative client experience.
• Experience managing facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices and adapt to varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 assigned offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and close gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with client-centric leadership.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting expectations and coaching to performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observations, feedback, and outcomes to strengthen team execution.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across assigned offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve business results and client acquisition/retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, labor, compliance, SOPs, and service delivery.
• Oversee office readiness, including facilities, equipment, supplies, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal preparation.
