Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to align priorities and drive results. The role focuses on office readiness, staffing, compliance, and day-to-day operations while delivering strong business performance across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/service/operations with outcomes responsibility.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations including labor management.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.
• Ability to prioritize across locations and exercise independent judgment.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices, ensuring standards are met.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations and drive improvements.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with client-centric leadership.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, setting expectations and coaching performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and real-time feedback to strengthen team execution.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve business results, client acquisition, and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Own office readiness including facilities, equipment, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
