Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4-6 offices and ensure a consistently exceptional client experience across locations. You will lead and develop Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coaching teams to anticipate client needs and deliver expert guidance with a welcoming, confident presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations setting.
• Strong client-focused mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices with consistent standards.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact; use insights to improve the experience.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals for consistent performance.
• Provide feedback to strengthen team execution and address gaps.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength for talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, compliance, and SOPs are upheld.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, supplies, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
