Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices and deliver a consistently exceptional client experience. You will set expectations for consultative service, drive performance, and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to anticipate client needs while maintaining strong operational execution across locations.

You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, own office readiness, and staffing, facilities, and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail or service.
• Strong client-centric service delivery experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience managing operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior and performance.
• Own revenue, growth, and business outcomes across offices.
• Ensure daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
