Job summary

YAI in Brooklyn is seeking a Supervisor - Registered Nurse to oversee day-to-day nursing services for assigned programs and regions. You will supervise RNs and LPNs, ensure safe medication administration, and partner with leadership to implement person-centered nursing plans.

You will monitor performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and travel to programs as needed to provide on-site support and coaching.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising RN/LPN staff.
• Knowledge of nursing regulations.
• Ability to travel to programs across assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff to ensure safe and appropriate services and medication administration.
• Provide leadership and clinical support to program staff and attend regional leadership meetings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable nursing regulations and standards.
• Directly supervise RNs and LPNs for assigned caseload across regions.
• Maintain regular communication with nursing staff and enforce policies and procedures.
• Monitor nursing caseloads and adjust staffing as needed.
• Assist with plans of nursing care and updates to care plans.
• Travel to programs to engage with staff and persons supported and participate in on-site training.
