Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Regional Nurse Consultant for Alliance Health Group in Greensboro, NC. This field-based role provides expert clinical guidance, regulatory compliance support, and staff education across multiple long-term care facilities within a defined region.

You will lead quality improvement initiatives, mentor nursing staff, monitor CMS and state regulations, and collaborate with facility leadership to promote resident safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of employment is required.
• BSN preferred; master's degree or advanced certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in leadership within long-term care.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations, including CMS guidelines.
• Experience with quality assurance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and guidance across multiple facilities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and support state/federal surveys.
• Develop and deliver staff education on nursing standards and regulations.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to improve resident outcomes and safety.
• Document and report facility performance and regulatory status to leadership.
