Job summary

Adept is seeking a Regional Nurse Clinician (RN) to provide clinical oversight and guidance across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the West-Central Nebraska region. This travel-based leadership role partners with Directors of Nursing and facility leadership to ensure quality care, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence.

Ideal candidates bring Nebraska (or compact state) RN licensure, 3–5 years in long-term care, and proven ability to lead, educate, and motivate clinical teams

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska or a compact state.
• 3–5 years of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Prior leadership experience (DON, ADON, or Unit Manager preferred).
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing leadership and staff across multiple facilities.
• Assist with survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Conduct clinical audits, chart reviews, and mock surveys.
• Educate and mentor nursing staff on best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Onboard and train new Directors of Nursing and nurse leaders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Travel regularly to assigned facilities within the West-Central Region of Nebraska.
